Ok, so you’re calendar is stacked and you’re feeling the pressure of the summer events season. But whatever happened to me time? When do we get to be the guest for once and enjoy the other side of the registration table? When we’re not busy making RFID badges for events, Team Noodle love a good networking event for #EventProfs, and June has some real corkers lined up for you:
Female Speakers Conference (June 1)
NatWest Building, Bishopsgate
Calling all our fellow female #EventProfs – get some inspiration and some insight into the world of female speakers at this fantastic gathering to empower female speakers to step on stage more often and get paid more for their work. Thinking of taking on more public speaking gigs? This is a great place to get started.

London Tech Week (June 11-15)
Venues Across London
We love a good bit of tech, so we’re huge fan girls and boys of London Tech Week. It’s a chance to see the latest innovations, try some awesome new products and generally get up to date on what’s happening in the constantly-evolving world of consumer technology. We’re always on the look out for innovations that could impact event tech in the future, but we also love to the chance to surround ourselves with fellow tech-lovers and talk Geek for a few days.
The Meetings Show (June 27-28)
Over 7000 domestic and international meetings industry suppliers will descend on Olympia for this 2-day event. It launched in 2012 and has been growing stronger every year since then. There will also be some cutting edge tech on display, so you can get in the know on the latest event industry trends and tech innovations. Expect destinations, hotels, suppliers and technology providers.
EWL June Exchange: Manchester (June 21)
Calling all Manchester #EventProfs. Head on over to EWL’s June meetup to try some great food, meet some great people and participate in a debate about a hot industry topic (decided by participants on the day). Start with a knowledge hour where you, the guests, lead the conversation and decide what topics are most important to you. Not that we’re totally driven by our stomachs, but worth noting that the food is also ace.
Citizen Event (June 29)
The Long Acre, West End, London
One of our favourite ways to celebrate the end of another month of making great apps for events. Head to The Long Acre in the centre of town for some laid-back breakfast chat and some awesome networking opportunities. No presentations, no big speeches, just a chance to hang out with like-minded #EventProfs and get to know some other people from the industry.
We’re always adding to our list of great networking events for #EventProfs, so if you know about one you think we should add, give us a shout. You can chat to us via our website, say hello on Twitter or just give us a call! We’re also happy to talk about our apps for events and RFID smart badges too.
