April is a great month for #EventProfs! We’ve got a rich mix of conferences, forums and events coming up, so get those diaries out and start pencilling in. Ain’t no time like the present and if you’re anything like us, we’ll take any opportunity to get out of the office to mingle with our fellow event professionals, you’re bloomin’ brilliant!

Diaries at the ready – let’s take a look at what’s coming up in April.

Feeling like a night in but not ready to miss out on awesome networking for #EventProfs? No problem. #EventPlannersTalk takes place live on Twitter every Monday night. Just log in and follow the hashtags to take part.

 

C&IT Association Forum (April 1-2)

ICC Birmingham

A two-day forum aimed at senior event organisers running first-class events. Places at the forum are free but you need to be working with a minimum budget of £100k a year. This is a fantastic event for networking with the best and for meeting top industry suppliers.

 

Associations World Congress (April 7-9)

Gothenburg, Sweden

International #EventProf? This event offers 3 jam-packed days, covering 42 topics, specific to European and International associations, as well as 70 speakers to learn from. There’s debates, crash courses, keynotes, Success Story Case Studies, exchanges, campfires, conversation hubs, workshops, expert briefings, focus sessions, Breakfast Brains presentations and talks (breathe!) for you to look forward to.

 

Ticketing Business Forum (April 9-10)

Interested in finding out more about ticketing for live entertainment, across the sport, performing arts, concerts, cinema, festivals and visitor attractions sectors? This event this event encompasses the entire ticketing ecosystem from digital marketing and discovery through to pricing, CRM, data and analytics, as well as bringing together the latest tech and awesome industry leaders.

The National Wedding Show (April 13-14)

The National Wedding Show runs 4 times a year and is a hub of information and suppliers for couples who are looking for all-things wedding-related. From entertainment and dresses to caterers and florists, you’ll find it all here. A great place for #EventProfs to get some inspiration for their next event too.

 

EWL Club – Happy Hour Networking (April 18)

5:30-8:30pm
Lucky Voice Holborn, 84 Chancery Lane, London, WC2A 1DL

Leave the office early and hot-foot it to Lucky Voice Holborn to mingle with fellow #EventProfs, business owners and entrepreneur peers. Let your hair down for a good sing-song and make some new contacts in the process.

 

EWL Club – Corporate & PA Round Table (April 25)

6:30pm – 7:30pm: Arrival Drinks and unNetworking
7:30pm – 9:00pm: Dinner debate and knowledge sharing

Register your interest for this round-table event, where you’ll be given the opportunity to network and dine with industry peers, in a roundtable setting.

 

Citizen Event (April 26)

Head to the heart of London, West End on the last Friday of the month to hang out with other #EventProfs, relax into the weekend and chat informally. There are no presentations or agendas, it’s just a place to drop in, mingle and connect.

 

Conference and Hospitality Show (April 30)
