But when do you get to take some time for your own personal development and a nice chunk of networking? Don’t worry, July is here, and with it, there are plenty of events for event professionals! Networking without leaving the sofa? Hell yeah. #EventProfsTalk is an established industry favourite and a great place to meet other #EventProfs and discuss the latest news and trends in the industry. Simply log in every Monday evening and follow the hashtags to be part of the conversation.

Gaming and Engagement (July 4)

Wondering about gamification? This morning workshop will give you loads of great insights into the latest gamification trends and how they are being used in business and professional settings. Perfect for #EventProfs who want to know more about creating engaging experiences and introducing gamification to their events.

National Union of Students Show (July 5)

The student event market is a huge industry. This annual trade show brings together heads of unions, caterers and venues who are working with students and learning institutions across the country.

EWL July Signature in London (July 6)

EWL host a range of great networking events throughout the year and are known for their accessible, inclusive format and small groups that allow everyone to have their say. These events are fantastic if you want to get to know a handful of industry professionals and take part in an in-depth discussion of the latest trends that are shaping the industry.

BNC Event Show (July 11)

Team Noodle have a lot of love for the BNC Event Show. It takes place twice a year and is a brilliant showcase of the latest tech, catering, venues and suppliers from across the industry. It’s also a great place to network and there’s an opportunity to drop into a range of bite-size 20-minute seminars and discussions on every aspect of event planning.

ICEDAY (July 12)

Design Museum London
Spend the afternoon developing your skills, reflecting on your work and gaining some personal development. ICEDAY is a fantastic event from ICE Initiatives to help #EventProfs take some much-needed time for their own career development and skill building. With a line up of great speakers and sessions including Adrian Caddy, Founder of Greenspace, this event promises plenty of opportunities for top class advice and insights.

ICE Awards (July 12)
Evening
Design Museum, London
The only event industry awards open exclusively to in-house corporate event planes. This is the 4th annual ICE Awards and is only open to those who have entered the awards.

Scoping Out You Next Market (July 18)
2.30-4.30pm
Campus London
Head to Campus London for a free workshop session on finding new potential markets and audiences for your event business. There will be practical advice on overcoming barriers to entry in new markets as well as tips on how to scale and network effectively. Campus London host regular free sessions and workshops so they’re listings are always worth scoping our for cool events for event professionals.

EWL Annual Exchange (July 19)
The Vox Conference Centre, Birmingham

The UK event industry’s un-conference! The delegates decide what content is delivered on the day and there will be plenty of open debates, panels and insights from industry experts. There is also a dedicated networking lounge and a mentoring lounge where delegates can sit down and discuss any topic of their choice with experts and other professionals from the industry.

Citizen Event (July 27)
8.30-11am
The Long Acre, West End, London
Held on the last Friday of every month, Citizen Event is one of the most relaxed and welcoming events for event professionals in London. No presentations, no speakers, just a chance to network, have a chat and meet other people working in the events industry.
