Yeah, August was fun and all that. It had some lovely weather, long evenings and summer bants, but what about September? It’s a bit like August, but a bit less hyped and more underground if you know what we mean. All the cool kids are into it, and for #EventProfs, there’s a whole load of brilliant social, networking and skill building events for event professionals to get stuck into too. Thanks September!

EWL September Coffee Morning (September 8)

If you’re looking to expand your contacts book in the industry then head to this well established Meetup for event professionals. This month’s coffee morning will focus on suppliers and buyers and looking at the importance of the relationship between them. The event will be hosted by the Founder & Director of EWL, Helen Moon.

The Benefits to Startups of Hosting Events (September 8)

A free afternoon workshop hosted by award winning #EventProf Jason Allan Scott. The discussion will focus on the ways that tech startups can use events to drive their success.

Event Huddle: How to deal with free event no shows? (September 14)

The monthly event huddle event for event professionals is a great chance to get together with other #EventProfs and have a chat about some of the topics impacting the industry. This month the group will be talking about how to handle guests who don’t show up when you run a free event.

This regular networking lunch brings together some of the industry’s brightest #EventProfs and is a great way to meet new people and learn some new skills. Lunch is two courses with wine and arrival drinks.
