Team Noodle love getting out and about and meeting other #EventProfs from around the industry. That’s why we loved The BNC Event Show in February. Not only did we get to show off our super fast registration process and RFID-powered event tech, we also got to check out some of the great companies and services on display.
There were so many great suppliers at The BNC Event Show. Here are some of the ones that floated our boat:
Wow Grass: Real Grass With No Soil
Need real grass to complete the look and feel of your event? Real grass is great, but it usually means a whole lot of mess. Wow Grass offers real, living grass without the need to lay soil, so you can lay grass in virtually any venue. It’s great for bringing the outdoors in. The only limit is your imagination. You can Wow up your floors, your furniture and even your walls.
Caper and Berry: Artful Canapes
Ok, so when someone has trays of beautiful cakes and canapés on offer, we’re fairly easily won over, but Caper and Berry’s amazing flavour combinations and beautiful presentation tickled our tastebuds and our imagination. What more could we ask for?
Glisser: Interactive Presentation Software
Glisser isn’t exactly new to us. In fact, we’ve written a whole article about their interactive presentation software before. But we love what these guys are doing with event tech and we’re always happy to check in with them about the latest developments. At BNC we learnt more about ways to connect your audience to your presentations using your smartphone. It’s pretty clever stuff!
Lick Me I’m Delicious: Entertainment So Good You Can Eat It
As mentioned, we like food. But this isn’t just any food. This is food art. Lick Me I’m Delicious offer kooky edible talking points that blur the line between food and art. We’re talking about taps that pour out chocolate, zero calorie flavoured mists and edible bubbles flavoured with basil leaves. It’s like Willy Wonka met Dr Seuss and they created a magical picnic. We loved it.
Superbooths Europe: Interactive Photobooths
Photo booths always draw crowds and get great social coverage, turning your attendees into brand ambassadors. Superbooths have taken the photo booth to the next level with interactive video and image capture. They play on vintage photobooths, but everyone who enters the superbooth gets to become the star of their own photo shoot with music, lighting and even a wind machine. Guests can collect a super size print of their image outside the booth, or choose to have the image emailed to the iPad station where they can instantly share it across social media. Superbooths also offer ‘selfie’ mirrors – mirrors that can take your photo instantly, so you don’t even need to get your phone out to grab a snap.
